Account & privacy
Delete your BibleReach account
You can request deletion without signing in. This applies to your BibleReach account and the personal data associated with it.
Send your deletion request
Email us from the address registered with BibleReach. Tell us whether you use Google sign-in, email sign-in or both, and whether you linked them in My BibleReach. Linked-account requests cover both identities, the shared study and the account-link records.
Request account deletion by emailOr send your request to thebiblereach@gmail.com with the subject “BibleReach account deletion request”.
The button opens a draft in your email app. You must send it to submit your request. No account or data is deleted by opening this page.
What happens next
- We verify that you own the account. We never ask for your password or a sign-in code.
- We confirm which account you want removed and give you an expected completion date. Google and email accounts are currently separate; ask for both if you want both removed.
- After verification, we process the request manually and confirm when deletion is complete. Deletion is permanent once completed.
What we remove
We remove your BibleReach sign-in identity, profile and uploaded profile pictures, account-linked notes, bookmarks, journal, reflections, reading preferences, plans and progress. We also remove your Community posts, comments, reactions and other account-linked Community records, notifications and phone-alert subscriptions.
Deleting BibleReach does not delete your Google account. Anonymous aggregate visit totals and Kids activity totals are not linked to an account and remain.
Device copies and retention
Export anything you wish to keep before requesting deletion. Sign out on each device and clear BibleReach site or app storage to remove local and offline copies. Previously shared copies or screenshots held by others cannot be recalled.
If we need to retain limited records for legal, fraud-prevention or security reasons, we will explain what is retained, why and for how long when responding. Hosting providers may retain operational logs or backups under their own retention schedules. These copies are not available as an active BibleReach account.
Removing an app from your device does not delete its account. You can still read public Scripture and use BibleReach Kids without an account.
